Tax accountant (ITAA certified)

Join a well-established accounting firm that serves a broad range of clients, from self-employed professionals to large enterprises. With offices throughout the Kempen region, the company is expanding and seeking an experienced tax accountant with ITAA certification to strengthen the team in Mol. 

In this role, you will take full ownership of client files, guide junior team members, and act as a primary contact for both day-to-day operations and strategic tax discussions. Your ability to deliver timely and accurate work will be matched by your leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client files from A to Z, both from the office and on-site at client locations
  • Coordinate, supervise and support junior dossier managers in their development
  • Prepare and finalise balance sheets and annual accounts with precision and accuracy
  • Handle personal and corporate income tax declarations and represent clients during tax audits
  • Maintain direct communication with clients to discuss results, advise on compliance and resolve questions

Must have

  • Recognised certification as an accountant ITAA
  • Several years of relevant experience in accountancy or tax advisory
  • Ability to work independently while also guiding and motivating others
  • High level of responsibility, accuracy, and stress resistance
  • Degree in accountancy, taxation or a related higher education programme

Nice to have

  • Experience representing clients during official tax inspections or controls
  • Interest in continuous learning and keeping up with evolving tax legislation
  • Natural communication skills and client-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to contribute to internal process improvement and team knowledge-sharing
  • Affinity with digital tools used in accounting and fiscal reporting
